Happy Spring SBIA Members!
SBIA conducted our General Membership meeting on March 11th. Required increases were presented by the Board to help balance our General Membership Fund. After much discussion on the lean SBIA budget, a vote was taken and the 2024 Dues increase passed.
Given the level of discussion around the budget, I am presenting the sources of Dues and planned Expense from the General Fund and Marina Fund.
Prior to our 100 year anniversary celebration this Summer, we would like to make a concerted effort with our volunteer Work Parties to improve the appearance of our properties. We need a lot more help this year so please, please show up.
Also note that we are re-keying the boat launch lock. New keys can be obtained the day of our Work Party at the Beach on May 4th. Outside of that date, you can e-mail [email protected] to arrange a key pick-up.
We could also use volunteers for the 100 Year Anniversary Party, if interested please contact a Board Member.
Two boat docks have come available and the dock reassignment meeting will be announced soon.
