On May 13th the general membership meeting was held at the Beach Pavilion, where we had a larger than normal turn out. Member support and involvement is greatly appreciated.
During our meeting we covered the below core topics.
- Work Party: Discussed and made final arrangement. Please do read this separate article HERE.
- 100 Year Celebration Party: Save the Day – Saturday, August 17
- To help raise funds for the Party, we are launching a Fundraiser now and planning a Raffle for the day of the event.
- Fundraiser: We have designed a special commemorative T-Shirt & Hat {insert pictures below}. All profits will go directly to SBIA and earmarked for this event. Please order yours before the June 15th deadline! Order HERE.
- Master Plan: The Board received several quotes from Landscape Design companies and have selected: Elysian, The Imagine Co. The goal of this work is to: a) develop a plan and vision for our Marina Pak and Beach; b) break the work into phases, and get bids for the desired work; c) bring the details back to the membership for a vote.
