The Upper Straits Lake Kayaking group puts in every Wednesday from May 24 through October, or until the weather is too cold to go.
Even calendar dates meet in the evening at 6:30 pm (6:00 pm Sept and Oct.)
Odd calendar dates meet at 1 pm.
Kayaks meet in the water at the midpoint of the lake, the point SE of the beach in the Shady Beach subdivision.
Anyone with legal access to the lake is Welcome!
We are a social group, everyone is very friendly and glad to meet new kayakers.
All abilities feel free to join in!
